I spoke with the Program Director at WGIR/WGIN this morning about the problem. She said that she thinks she knows what was causing it and was going to fix it right away... Hopefully she was able to.

Sounds like it's worth pursuing then. We'll see if we can get it all set up and I'll let you know what help we might be able to use.

The cut-outs to commercials at the wrong time has been very irritating to me, too. I brought it up with WGIR a couple of weeks back (again) and they fixed it for one week, but then things are back to broken again.

I'll bring it up with them again this week and see if we can get it fixed. A pleasant, quick call to the station (WGIR) would probably go a long way...

Hi Craig,

I think it is worth covering, if for no other reason than, to publicize robotics programs in NH's high schools and encourage more schools and tech savvy students to step-up and join the educationally rewarding fun and create partnerships with tech savvy businesses.
Far too many students are disengaged, finding math and science irrelevant, presented as they are in discrete packets that are not tied together in an organic way that is found in tech oriented businesses. Robotics contests are a way to integrate the different disciplines (math, science, computers, CAD, metal shop, etc.) in a team centric project. It illustrates the possibilities!
Do it and post videos the contests for online viewing. It will be an important contribution to technical education and America's future.
I'll be glad to come and help. Thank you.

Craig -

I try to enjoy your Saturday programs on WGIR. Very often the station does a poor job in coordinating your spoken segments with the stations segments, like news breaks, public service spots, etc. Usually, as a result of those station MIXUPS parts of your input (guest interviews, etc.) get cut out. That's a discourtesy to your guests, an irritation to me the listener and a disservice to you and your staff because of all the work you do to create your valuable programs. Agree? Can something be done to correct the problem? Thanks!
