Prius worse than Hummers? I’ve heard that these Hybrids were going to save the environment, but also knew that the technology used in the batteries was harmful to the environment and that the short life of these cards created more pollution due to the replacement of the battery packs and even the whole car.  The plant where the Prius’ battery’s core materials are mined and processed is so badly impacted that NASA uses it to simulate conditions on the moon.  Check out The Recorder’s article for even more information.
