One of my soap-box subjects has always been that we have to promote the sciences here in the US. Turns out that Pinkerton Academy agrees with me, and on Saturday, November 14th they’re holding the first annual NH TechFest. This will be an “all-day extravaganza of enlightening science and technology demonstrations, hands-on activities, and overall cool experiences.” They’re inviting middle and high-school students to attend and get a quick sample of the sciences.
The main event will be an apple-tossing Trebuchet contest, featuring teams of middle and high school students from throughout New England.
