Creating a secure voting application is near to impossible.  WIth hackers right on the tails of technology working to thwart every advantage, it will be a long while until we can create an app that could assure the authenticity of our elections.  Different states have been “playing” with apps but they are filled with flaws some so rudimentary that they anyone can not only see but grab votes as they were transmitted from the device to the server.  Once accessed the data could be changed without the voter’s knowledge. Those who make these apps try to use untested blockchain technology to improperly secure their applications.
