Outcome: North Country says it learned of the suspicious activity Jan. 4, and launched an investigation. On Jan. 30, the investigation found that someone deployed malware to the listed businesses between Jan. 3-24, and collected credit and debit card information. Specific information potentially accessed includes names, credit card numbers, expiration dates and CVVs. They have set up an assistance line and provided information about monitoring suspicious activity and how to put a security freeze on your credit report.
