Are small tech companies being squeezed by tech giants?  You bet and it has happened numerous times. Sometimes they announce a big product or service, never planning to ever bring it to market.  They drive excitement for their product damaging the marketability of the small company. Once the company value is reduced they scoop up the company and shelve their product.  That is just one of the ways that they control small tech companies but there are other ways including advertising, search manipulation, and e-commerce, etc. From apps to counterfeits, the field is anything but level with Big Tech coming out on top.
