Apple is being two-faced about its security. Turns out they have a backdoor key to our backups.

Reports say that Apple is not going to allow customers to fully encrypt backups of the iOS data they store in iCloud after the FBI demanded access two years ago. Any backdoor will eventually be compromised, which makes me think that Apple should not cave to this pressure from the FBI.

The data on these devices is personal data and must never get stored in an unencrypted state or encrypted along with a backdoor key.

Allowing customers to encrypt their data with no backdoors is ensuring that citizens are secure in their papers and effects under the Fourth Amendment.
