The current widespread cyberattack that seems to have been originally aimed at the Ukraine, has a minor bug that allows you to “vaccinate” your computer against it. Unfortunately this is not a permanent fix, as the developers of the code could easily change the way their program works, so keep an eye here.

Catalin and Lawrence have put together a step-by-step article on what to do to stop it, and how to do it. I’m planning on putting a video together today to provide some more information.
