Privacy, Security and SMS

How many times a day do you send text messages? Do you even think about security when you do so? Most people don’t consider that all information contained within them is not private. That means that your short messages might be read by someone else or even released into the public, e.g., Peter Strock and Lisa Page. If they concern business, the text could put that business at risk. Many legacy messaging services have not been updated and are therefore vulnerable to some of the new attack vectors. There are a couple of choices for secure text application, Signal, and iMessage (iPhone to iPhone only.)
