Equifax “Security” – Allowed Unbelievable Inept Logins and Lack of Encryption

Most of us do not have a choice when it comes to sharing our data with big data credit bureaus/respositories.  They simply take all our information and re-sell it making huge profits for themselves.! In their desire for greatness, they continually acquired small firms with products or services they could profit from. However, lost in their pursuit of profits they forget the responsibility they have to protect that information that they were “entrusted” with.  Equifax didn’t even come close to following a modicum of the cybersecurity best practices. Then when they get caught, they covered their inepetitude until the executives could sell off their stocks making huge profits for themselves while the public suffers incredible losses of time, money and privacy.
