Terminated Government Contractor Ends Up in Jail After Destroying IT System Resources

IT people are hard to come by and are getting harder to find. That goes for business and government alike. In late 2016 the government terminated a contract with an IT Systems Administrator named Barrence Anthony. He was under contract to the US Army Chaplain Corps, through a Federal IT contractor. Rather than step away and find another position, he decided to retaliate against his employer and destroy some critical resources belonging to the US Army. After being found guilty was sentenced to two years in prison.
