Is Machine Learning pushing Healthcare or Healthcare pulling in Machine Learning

The healthcare industry is rapidly utilizing the advancements in machine learning to evaluate and aid humans in processing the vast and complex medical datasets and then analyze them into clinical insights that allow doctors to adapt their diagnoses and treatments for each patient. Sometimes these predictive algorithms enable doctors to catch diseases before they become serious problems for society. As these systems advance, what does that mean for our healthcare — will it machine be making our medical diagnoses and recommending the treatments when we see the doctor or the physicians we are seeing? In telemedicine, our diseases are diagnosed through a screen and by software without input from a physician. What’s next? What will the machines recommend?
